Definitely agree that panic buying/stocking inventory is a big driver of the problem.

It will be interesting to see long it will take to calm down. We were supposed to be done with this mess by now, according to articles published several months ago.

Given the backlog of ships outside of Long Beach and LA, along with the never ending convoy on its way from China, I doubt it will be a quick fix. I wonder what the breakeven point will be when domestic manufacturing is actually cheaper/faster than importing.
