Hello All!
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, from enjoying the long 4th of July weekend to realizing that school starts in 5 short weeks. Yikes!
For those of you on the West Coast, I hope you are able to stay cool and make it through this second heat wave. Between the incessant fires, persistent drought, pervasive heat, and looming power issues, it seems like this summer has been more crucible than celebration.
If you are living in those areas, let us know how things are going. It’s one thing to read the national news from a 30,000 feet level; it’s quite another to hear stories from people who are living it day by day.
New Author
Please welcome a new author to MD group: Daemon Littlefield. He wrote two articles focused on evaluating investment returns. The first looks at the pros and cons of dividend reinvesting, while the second delves a little deeper into the math of investment returns, going beyond the standard YoY capital gain.
His articles are great introductions to some beyond-the-basics of investing while still being easily readable. Thanks Daemon for your hard work!
