Thanks for the compliment. I heard the phrase "Demographics is destiny" a while back, and it's stuck with me ever since.
The bad thing is that preparing for the waves of larger and smaller generations takes long-term thinking, which is anathema to politicians who think in two-year cycles.
We should have seen the Baby Boom generation putting huge strains on the economy when they were in high school, even without the smaller generations that followed. But it didn't happen.
I think Gen X will be fine, as they are already in prime earning years and preparing.
Millenials will bear the brunt, having their prime earning years cut out from under them.
Hopefully Gen Z (my kids) will have a fighting chance during their careers.
